I decided to post a Unique Article Wizard case study live on this blog instead of going to the effort of making a PDF.

Object: to quickly and easily get 3-5 spots on page 1 for one particular term, and top 1-3 spots for long tail terms

Keywords being targeted: EZArticleLink, and EZArticleLink Review

Rankings during the pre-launch, launch, post-launch

NOTES: At the time this was a very easy term to rank for, and as time progresses, some of the spokes of the link wheel will fade in rankings..unless you devote more links to them on a periodic, steady basis.

How Unique Article Wizard was used to achieve these rankings:

Day 1- registered the domain ezarticlelink.net and wrote a few posts on it, then waited for it to ge tindexed (1-2 days.

Day 2- Built a hub and a lens, wrote 1 article for each and published them.

Day 3-

wrote an article for EZineArticles which got rejected due to wording in article mentioning spinning of content.
Wrote part one of a 2-part review on another blog

Day 4 -

Main review site domain indexed, ranked bottom of page 1 for term ezarticlelink.
Edited hub and lens to link to the main domain.
Edited blog post to point to main domain

Day 5- wrote 1st UAW article linking to all four entities (hub, lens, blog post, and main domain) using rotating anchor text urls in resource boxes of articles, and varying anchor text.

On the day the UAW submissions started hitting the ‘net…

Gathered up a list of urls sending pingbacks to my sites from my articles, did same thing with Google alerts for author names, too.

Waited a week, took big list of urls that linked to my sites and wrote a second UAW article, but this time there were more urls to be linked to from the resource boxes because I wanted to get links to my links.

I picked 12 urls to get links to and submitted article. The UAW article itself has varying anchor text in the article body, and I also varied the position in which the hyperlinked anchor text appeared in these articles.

Also used random names for authors in order to increase uniqueness of the articles.

Prior to second article going “live”…

Owned about 3-4 spots on page 1, on average..for terms EZArticleLink and EZArticleLink review.

Then the launch came and more sites and people were working on this term (more competition) and some of the competing urls pushed the lens off page 1.

Moving forward, how to maintain the link velocity necessary for keeping up with competition….

For every article you write on a related subject matter, add in some rotating anchor text-ed resource boxes pointing links towards the higher-performing (better-ranked) entities.

NOTE: AS part of this case study, I purposefully pointed very few links towards the main review site domain url because I wanted to see just how competitive this term was, and to see how much juice got passed from the web 2.0 entities towards the domain.

Other notes: Hub pages seem to respond very well to links being sent to them, and the hub I built for this exercise seems to be outranking my blog posts and my review mini-site domain name.

I have a site called Firsthand Reviews and one of its main keywords is home business reviews. Well, I’ve tried everything I could think of to get it ranked higher up on page 1, from messing around with site titles, to changing permalinks, even re-organizing my categories, and all of that only helped a tiny, tiny. bit.

The term home business reviews doesn’t get a lot of traffic but it’s extremely competitive and the SERPs change constantly here with wild fluctuations for the top 10 spots. Sometimes my sites will even go to page 2 for a while then to bottom of page 1, then middle of page 1, etc…

But things changed when I realized I hadn’t used Unique Article Wizard to get backlinks to my Firsthand Reviews site to its main domain name url for its main keywords!!! Duh and double-duh right there!

So, I wrote 1 article that linked back to several of my sites, but more importantly, in the article body itself I linked back to my firsthandreviews.com site with the term home business reviews.

I submitted the article to as many directories as I could and within 3 days I saw the jump in the SERPs for my site.

And the best thing about it is, my site hasn’t jumped around in the SERPs like the rest of the sites trying to be on page 1 within the top 10 results.

If anything, when my site does jump in the SERPs, it jumped from #4, to #3, to #2 (as of right now).

That’s pretty good stuff right there, and if Unique Article Wizard can do this for extremely competitive terms like “home business reviews”, just think of what it will do for you in less competitive niches. But even if you are in a competitive niche SEO-wise, Unique Article Wizard can deliver the SERPs you need, as I’ve proven here.

Too bad I neglected to do this article for that site previously as a lot of time was wasted by trying a whole bunch of different stuff.

One last note about using Unique Article Wizard:

In this example above where I showed you how UAW got my site up in the SERPs, I still didn’t use Unique Article Wizard to its fullest capacity and power when I wrote that article!!!

You see, with UAW you can write your article in their format and let them do their magic spinning and auto-creations, but there’s some advanced stuff you can do as well like changing what gets linked to in the body of the article.

When you’re done writing your article with Unique Article Wizard, they give you 3 versions of articles from which they make thousands of other versions. These 3 versions comes from your first seed article which got rewritten twice.

As you know this is an informational site about Unique Article Wizard.

Not many affiliates like me would go to the trouble of creating a resource site, but I believe in Unique Article Wizard and I know you’ll be a believer, too once you try it for a while, risk-free.

Recently, the folks at Unique Article Wizard unveiled a new back office and this new member’s area is pretty snazzy-looking.

However, what even more pleasing to me about this new look is that it’s also unveiled some of the many features to Unique Article Wizard that I’ve never got around to using.

When you read any review on Unique Article Wizard, you’re sure to read that you get thousands of backlinks, but how can you verify this?

Well, it is true but you probably want to discover this for yourself and from a trusted source, right?

So before you get Unique Article Wizard, make sure you set up some Google alerts for the author names that you’ll be using in your massive syndicated articles.

Some people like to use “spoofed”, or fake author names for some reason, and I think it has to do with remaining anonymous so others can’t get what niche sites are theirs. The reason some Unique Article Wizard users don’t want to reveal their niches is they may have bragged about it to someone, somewhere and they’re protected in their anonymity this way.

Frankly, I think that’s a bit foolish but Point #1 here is that you can set up Google Alerts to track any and ALL mentions of your “author” name(s). Point #2 is to remind you that you get to set up and create as many spoofed author names as you like with “UAW” and it helps for a number of reasons besdies gaining anonymity.

Another reason why you might want to use several different usernames is to get more of your articles published by the directories and website owners.

You see, with “UAW” , it’s very easy to brand yourself as an expert by having numerous articles on other relevant, related niches sites that brand you as the expert in that field.

But since Unique Article Wizard has hundreds, sometimes even tohusand sof related places to syndicate your articles, those website owners may think you’re submitting a rehashed article with the same content but different title so it makes sense to mix up what author names you’re using to get more articles syndicated, accepted, and published.

And of course, you can verify this once you set up all your Google Alerts and start seeing all those backlinks coming in from your published and widely syndicated articles.!

When I first heard about the Unique Article Wizard plugin, I thought I was dreaming…

After all, I was going to get unique/semi-unique content automatically published on my sites, and for free?

What’s the catch?

The “catch” is that the people like myself who are using the unique article wizard service to syndicate their articles and backlinks to thousands of places are making big bucks and getting top rankings, if they do things correctly.

Normally, as an affiliate marketer I will recommend a product and that’s it, but with this service I feel this there’s some extra training needed, especially fo rpeople who aren’t sure how to craft an article for SEO and or sales.

But I digress.. My main point here was to tell you that unique article wizard plugin isn’t the only method by which you can get free content automatically to your sites for free.

Before you read this post I just want to let you know that I’ll be referring to Unique Article Wizard as UAW and Submit Your Article as SYA for easier writing.

Hopefully this makes for easier reading for you…

Recently, I was reading an article on Jack Humpreys Friday traffic report about article marketing syndication and in his post he basically says that the whole “spinning of articles to avoid dupe content penalties is “kool-aid drinker” type of thinking to paraphrase him.

He opines that you’ll never get 10 of your article titles to show up in the search engines no matter how much you spin them, and the real value to article syndication is getting other publishers to syndicate your content, not just having your article titles showing up.

He’s right, in a way…

You won’t get your titles displayed on thousands of sites no matter how many “unique” article spins you create, but SYA doesn’t really do anything different from what UAW does.

Submit your Article claims to create unique versions of your article to send out for syndication purposes, and I’m sure they do, but I seriously doubt that the quality of sites is an different from the quality of sites that syndicate your article via the UAW network.

As a matter of fact, I would even go out on a limb here and say that the publishers syndicating the SYA articles are also the same people receiving free content via the Unique Article Wizard plugin.

So what makes SYA better than UAW?

From what I can see, nothing, really…

What makes UAW better than SYA?

The ability to time your submissions and schedule them so your articles get syndicated and re-published at a more measured rate.

The ability to input/spin multiple urls into each article so that you can link to multiple urls from the same article.

In other words, if you wrote one article for UAW and SPUN the URLS portion of the article to include 5 or 6 different sites you wanted to link back to from the article, you can do that with UAW submissions.

This is yet another way to take full advantage of their spinning capabilities and no other services offer this feature.

In this post I’m going to compare two services that are somewhat similar to each other, yet worlds apart.

My Article Network is an offering from the Callen brothers that is pretty impressive for a lot of reasons and they are as follows:

Their blog network is at least 10,000 blogs strong and this is the resource you’re tapping into, the potential to get backlinks from 10,000 places
Their service has a very reasonable monthly fee of #47.00/month
There is an area inside your login for creating outsourcer logins so you can create a seperate login for writers or other people you might have working for you, and this allows you to totally outsource the usage of this service.
You get links (lots of them) and you can limit the number of links you get per article submission which is a good thing.

Now let’s compare this to what Unique Article Wizard has for benefits and features.

UAW offers time-released submissions which allows you to build up backlinks in a more measured and natural manner, something that is very important if you want to do link building properly.

UAW will generate thousands of backlinks via your article submissions and to prove this, they periodically send you updates on how many credited links you’ve generated to all your sites.

With Unique Article Wizard there is also the potential for viral marketing and syndication of your articles. Part of the syndication of your articles is dependent upon the thousands of site owners receiving unique content via the Unique Article Wizard plugin. One of the settings for this plugin is to publish the link for where your main article is stored. It is kind of like a repository for articles that UAW members has submitted and all the articles are stored here in case someone reads one of your articles somewhere on the web and wants to grab a copy of it and publish it again, themselves. This leads to a viral marketing effect for your articles.

There’s really only 2 things that make Unique Article Wizard a better article marketing submission and syndication service, and those are:

The article spinner- UAW’s article spinner is easy to use once you become acclimated to their way of writing articles. What are the major article directories you should manually publish articles to?

I get this question a lot of times so I figured I’d address this via a blog post…

There are 3-4 major article directories that are worth the manual effort to submit articles to…

EzineArticles.com
FindArticles.com
Articlesbase.com
Goarticles.com

Generally speaking EzineArticles, A.K.A. EZA is still the king when it comes to article directories whose published articles get the best rankings.

But you don’t need me to do that for you…

Prove it to yourself by typing in your niche keyword-based search queries and see which article directories show up before the others on a consistent basis.

In most cases EZA will be the first article directory to appear, but there are some article directories that do better than others for certain niches.

But why would anyone waste their time with manual article submissions when Unique Article Wizard sends unique versions of your articles to thousands of directories and websites?

#1- Because directories like EZA have strict quality control, only accept unique content, and your published articles will rank well if you do things correctly.

#2 – Because Unique Article Wizard doesn’t submit your articles to all 3-4 of these major article directories

Therefore there is still value to doing manual article marketing submissions if you don’t put a lot of value in your time and effort…

The fact remains that getting backlinks from these article dirrctories decreases in effectiveness with each new backlink you get from them.

The FACT is, some of the 3-4 directories will require that your articles be unique content which means you have to write yet another article plus go through another manual submission process.

On the other hand, with Unique Article Wizard, you write ONE article and the you’re done, ONE-and-DONE-done…

My recommendation has always been to:
